The dining room table comfortably seats 8 with additional bartop seating for four. On the first level you will find one bedroom, furnished with a king bed and across the hall there is another bedroom with a queen. The first level also has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. This bathroom is accessible from the hall and king bedroom. Upstairs on the second floor you will discover five additional bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and the full capacity washer & dryer.
There is a spacious screened porch on the oceanside of the home that is furnished with comfortable outdoor seating and a picnic table for dining or games. Just off the screened porch is a sundeck, furnished with 3 lounge chairs and additional seating. As you descend off the sundeck, you are greeted with a covered carport, again with 2 picnic tables, a gas grill and additional seating options. This home is FRONT BEACH with it’s own private access, which also has a lovely little seating area for gathering, or watching little ones as they play on the shore. Off street parking is a hot commodity on the island and this home has a long driveway and parking area that can accommodate multiple cars, Guests may need to rearrange cars as needed to get in and out.

All beds are prepared with 100% cotton sheets and freshly laundered quilts. There are 8 sets of bath towels provided. Guests are supplied with a starter kit of essential items to get them started, these items are listed in your welcome email.
This home is pet friendly, dogs only please. We do not allow more than 2 dogs. There is a pet fee of $25 per dog per day. Dogs must be up to date on all vaccines, flea and tick preventative. Please make sure your pet is comfortable traveling and being left alone in a new home. Please crate pets when unattended. Please keep pets off furniture and bedding and be sure to review all City of Folly Beach rules and regulations concerning pets on the beach. We offer dedicated off-street parking for 2 vehicles. Please do not pull any vehicles or golf carts into the yard. We operate on septic systems on Folly and the yard provides the drain field. Parking is only allowed in the 2 designated spaces or on the street. Folly Beach parking rules require that cars park facing the flow of traffic , with all tires completely off the road. Do not park where official City of Folly Beach “No Parking” signs are placed.
Folly Daze has a strict 6 guest maximum capacity. If you require accommodations for more than 6 guests, please contact us. We are a pet friendly home. We only allow canines, a maximum of two. Pet fee is $25 per day per pet or $150 a week. Pets must be up-to-date on all flea and tick preventatives and vaccines. The property has privacy fencing but is not fully enclosed.
Originally built by Joe back when time moved a little slower, summer days seemed to melt into one another and family and friends gathered on porches to enjoy light conversation and cocktails while benefiting from the evening breeze. This lovely, updated 1950’s private home helps you step back into a simpler time, curling up with a good book, living shoeless and never needing to get into your car unless you absolutely must leave the Island.
As you enter the home you are greeted with original heart pine floors, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and an open and airy floor plan with two seating areas and dining room. Equipped with a fully stocked kitchen for all your dining/food preparation needs. The kitchen opens up directly to the front wrap around porch and also to a lovely seating area inside. Perfect layout for friends and family to gather while the chef prepares the evening meal, while not being excluded from the conversations and happenings of the day. Off of the kitchen you will find the main living room along with a Smart Flat Screen TV for all your viewing needs. This home has Direct TV and WIFI. Dining Room is directly off and open to the main living room. Dining Table is set for six people and there’s additional seating for three at the bartop in the adjacent kitchen area.
Off one side of the kitchen you will find bedroom one which has two twin trundle beds that sleep four. This room has it’s own private full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom two is directly beside bedroom one, has a queen bed and it’s own private bathroom with a deep soaking bath tub. This bedroom also opens out directly to the front wrap around porch. Bedroom three is located on the other side of the home and has a spacious bedroom with Queen bed and full bathroom right outside the entrance with clawfoot tub/shower combo.
Front, covered wrap around porch has a comfortable seating area with a private natural screen. The front yard is fully fenced with privacy fencing. Large, open back yard with outdoor charcoal grill and private outdoor shower with running hot/cold water. Washer/Dryer along with an additional standard full size refrigerator located directly off the house, steps away from the back deck and kitchen.
This home is ground level and perfect for those who might have difficulty navigating stairs. The maximum capacity for this house is 8 people at any time. This is not an event home. There’s plenty of off street parking in the back yard. No Smoking Inside. No pets.
