Located on a private salt water lagoon! Guests can bring a fishing rod or camera, as the landscape is always changing and is home to a variety of shorebirds and salt water inhabitants. Enjoy the best of both worlds while visiting the area. Just a quick 5 minute walk to the beach access at 13th street. There is also a designated community kayak/paddle board launch area, just across the street on the Folly River. Plenty of parking, for those who would like to bring a boat and launch it at the Folly Beach Public boat landing.
The first level of this home has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings in the living room, dining and kitchen area. This area opens up onto a spacious sundeck and also a cozy screened in porch! Off of the kitchen you will find a laundry room with a full sized washer/dryer. Across the hall is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Just down the hall is the queen bedroom suite with a private full bathroom. Just a bit further you will be welcomed into the media viewing room, with lots of cozy seating. Directly off of this second living area is the master suite! This room is very spacious with a king bed and a twin chaise lounge, in case you have a little one who wants to sleep in the room with you. Large private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, double vanity and even a bidet. The master suite also has it own covered porch overlooking the marsh. As you ascend upstairs you will be welcomed to a third sitting area, furnished with a futon, for those groups who have different sleeping needs. Off of this area is a full bath with a shower/tub combo. The upstairs has two private sleeping spaces. There is a private room with a queen bed and adjacent to this room is the additional king bedroom. The king bedroom is quite spacious and also opens up to a small open deck overlooking the marsh. 
The ground level of this property offers a covered and spacious seating area/game area, a small screened in porch and plenty of room to rest in the shade as the younger ones explore the beautifully landscaped yard. Lots of little trails and secret hiding spots. This property is next to a salt water pond. This pond is tide fed and there’s no telling what variety of fish you might discover. Our healthy ecosystem is home to flounder, spot-tailed bass, trout, lady fish and a variety of other salt water fish. Make sure to get a fishing license and cast a line! A short walk across the street, you will discover a public area that guests can launch a kayak or paddle board…this section feeds out into the Folly River. A short 5 min walk down the street will land you at the 13th public beach access.  

We are pet friendly. The pet fee is $25 per day per pet and we have a limit of 2 pets. This property is not fenced. Please make sure your pets are up to date on all vaccines, flea and tick medications. 

This home has a maximum capacity of 8 guests at all times. No parties or gatherings of any kind. It is located in a more residential part of our community, so please make sure to keep any outdoor music to a minimum as well as any noise after sunset.

No pets of any kind. This home is front beach and must follow very strict lighting regulations from May through September. Please read through our description thoroughly of all rules and expectations prior to reserving.

“Seafield” is a gorgeous front beach property, located on the pristine shores of Folly Beach! This home is the perfect space for generations of family members to gather and spend quality time together this summer, while having ample space to spread out, inside and out!

The first floor of this home has an open living room,kitchen and dining area, overlooking the ocean and opening onto the screened porch. The dining room table comfortably seats 8 with additional bartop seating for four. On the first level you will find one bedroom, furnished with a king bed and across the hall there is another bedroom with a queen. The first level also has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. This bathroom is accessible from the hall and king bedroom. Upstairs on the second floor you will discover five additional bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and the full capacity washer & dryer.

There is a spacious screened porch on the oceanside of the home that is furnished with comfortable outdoor seating and a picnic table for dining or games. Just off the screened porch is a sundeck, furnished with 3 lounge chairs and additional seating. As you descend off the sundeck, you are greeted with a covered carport, again with 2 picnic tables, a gas grill and additional seating options. This home is FRONT BEACH with it’s own private access, which also has a lovely little seating area for gathering, or watching little ones as they play on the shore. Off street parking is a hot commodity on the island and this home has a long driveway and parking area that can accommodate multiple cars, Guests may need to rearrange cars as needed to get in and out.

Folly Beach noise ordinance is between the hours of 10PM to 8AM. Please be respectful of your neighbors at all times. If the noise level at the home exceeds the legal limit for Folly Beach you may receive a $500 ticket from the city and will also be at risk of losing your refundable damage deposit, as well as being asked to leave the property without a refund. If the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require all occupants to vacate immediately. From May-September there can be no outside lights between the hours of 10PM and 7AM. All interior blinds and curtains must be closed completely between 10PM and 7AM to limit any lighting from inside the house. Failure to follow these rules could result in a ticket from the city and lose of your refundable damage deposit. We are committed to your comfort and those of our community. Originally built in 1925, updated with all the modern conveniences, this classic Folly Beach oceanfront cottage harks back to a simpler time. Kick off your shoes and let the ocean sounds and views nourish your soul. Living space of the home is all one level. Original hard wood floors, walls and ceilings throughout. A screened porch runs along the oceanside of the home, offering extended outdoor living space, complete with rocking chairs and a hammock. Perfect for all hours of the day! The open and spacious floor plan provides ocean views form every bedroom, affording ocean breezes and the gentle sound of the waves, lulling you to sleep. The home has been updated with a central heating and air conditioning system along with ceiling fans in each room, for those occassions when the weather is not conducive for opened windows.

There are 4 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen beds. The other two bedrooms are furnished with 2 twin beds in each room. This allows for multiple sleeping options for up to 8 guests. This home only has 1 bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, no bath tub. The kitchen is fully equipped with all your cooking needs. Dining room table seats 8 guests comfortably. TV in living room and master bedroom. Outdoor shower with hot water. Washer and dryer located underneath the home.

All beds are prepared with 100% cotton sheets and freshly laundered quilts. There are 8 sets of bath towels provided. Guests are supplied with a starter kit of essential items to get them started, these items are listed in your welcome email.

This home is pet friendly, dogs only please. We do not allow more than 2 dogs. There is a pet fee of $25 per dog per day. Dogs must be up to date on all vaccines, flea and tick preventative. Please make sure your pet is comfortable traveling and being left alone in a new home. Please crate pets when unattended. Please keep pets off furniture and bedding and be sure to review all City of Folly Beach rules and regulations concerning pets on the beach. Folly Beach is a very pet friendly beach, meaning there are lots of canine visitors. Please know your pet and their needs. Limit of 1 pet per stay at $25 per day.

Tucked Away

Location is key and this rental is perfectly located to easily walk to all things Folly! Once you park your car there will be no need to get back in it, unless you are leaving the Island. This rental is located on the first floor of a two story home. The space includes two private bedrooms with 1 queen, 1 full and a twin daybed in the common area. The daybed is tucked back in it’s own little nook with curtains that offer a bit of added privacy. . Great for small families on a budget or couple’s retreat! Pictures do not do this rental justice as it is much larger then it appears. Open, airy living area that comfortably seats 5 along with dining inside. Fully appointed kitchen with everything you need to stay in and prepare a meal. Comcast cable and Wifi, Smart flat screen TV in living room, additional TV in Master bedroom. Covered Shaded porch outside with dining table and seating. Fenced in yard. Outdoor shower with hot/cold water. 1/2 block from Restaurants, Bars, Shops, Grocery and 2 blocks back from the beach. B 2 Beach Chairs provided. This rental is not a single family home but a downstairs, ground level apartment.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS THE DOWNSTAIRS GROUND LEVEL UNIT OF A TWO STORY HOME. While it is not a basement…it is on the first floor and you will hear some foot traffic above. The above space is lived in full time by a family of 4. The upstairs unit uses the back entrance and Tucked Away uses the front. Please also note that all parking out front is owned by the city of Folly Beach. We can not guarantee parking directly in front of the unit although there usually is ample space. The City of Folly Beach owns all easements. You are allowed to park anywhere on Folly as long as you are parallel to the flow of traffic, all four tires off the road, not blocking a driveway or fire hydrant.

Originally built by Joe back when time moved a little slower, summer days seemed to melt into one another and family and friends gathered on porches to enjoy light conversation and cocktails while benefiting from the evening breeze. This lovely, updated 1950’s private home helps you step back into a simpler time, curling up with a good book, living shoeless and never needing to get into your car unless you absolutely must leave the Island.

As you enter the home you are greeted with original heart pine floors, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and an open and airy floor plan with two seating areas and dining room. Equipped with a fully stocked kitchen for all your dining/food preparation needs. The kitchen opens up directly to the front wrap around porch and also to a lovely seating area inside. Perfect layout for friends and family to gather while the chef prepares the evening meal, while not being excluded from the conversations and happenings of the day. Off of the kitchen you will find the main living room along with a Smart Flat Screen TV for all your viewing needs. This home has Direct TV and WIFI. Dining Room is directly off and open to the main living room. Dining Table is set for six people and there’s additional seating for three at the bartop in the adjacent kitchen area.

Off one side of the kitchen you will find bedroom one which has two twin trundle beds that sleep four. This room has it’s own private full bathroom designed with a walk-in shower with a deep basin that could serve as a small tub for infants/toddlers. Bedroom two is directly beside bedroom one, has a queen bed and it’s own private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. To access this bedroom from inside the house, you must walk through the twin bedroom.  This bedroom also opens out directly to the front wrap around porch which connects to the kitchen entrance, allowing this room to be accessible from the exterior, without entering the twin bedroom. Bedroom three is located on the other side of the home and has a spacious bedroom with King bed and full bathroom right outside the entrance with a walk-in shower.

Front, covered wrap around porch has a comfortable seating area with a semi-private natural screen. The front yard is fully fenced.  Parking is on the East Cooper Avenue entrance. This home has a long driveway that can easily accommodate up to six cars. The Washer/Dryer are located in a room outside, directly off the kitchen entrance.  There is also a private outdoor shower with hot/cold water, perfect for rinsing off after a relaxing day at the beach.

This home is ground level and perfect for those who might have difficulty navigating stairs. The maximum capacity for this house is 8 people at any time. We have a maximum capacity of 6 adults. Keep in mind this is a residential community. This home does not accept pets of any size or breed. Strictly no smoking.

Enjoy your private boardwalk to the River leading to a covered dock with an enclosed dock house. The dock is equipped with electricity, running water refrigerator and fish cleaning station. Under the covered dock you will find a picnic table, the perfect spot to enjoy a light meal. There is also a floating dock and jet dock…just BYOB (BRING YOUR OWN BOAT) At low tide this dock has s solid 3 ft. of water. Cast for red fish, speckled trout and flounder right off the dock. Pull in blue crab and shrimp for a little Low Country Boil. Bring your own boat, kayaks, paddle boards or rent them from local shops to help you explore the surrounding estuaries. Morris Island is just a paddle away and is only accessible by boat.. Watch dolphins as they frolick and play in the River. Take in a exquisite sunset. Observe an Osprey expertly snatch a fish for lunch.

Want to catch a wave? We are an easy stroll or bike ride to the shaded path leading to the white, hard packed sands of Folly. .
